The Porcupine Marine Natural History Society is a society to promote interest in the ecology and distribution of marine fauna and flora of the North East Atlantic region and the Mediterranean. Membership of our society entitles you to receive the Bulletin, attend our conferences and field meetings at reduced rates and apply for grants.
There are five membership options, with different annual fees:
Note: All members can receive digital (pdf) copies of the Bulletin, twice per year, but only Full members can receive hard copies.
- Full membership including hard copies of the Bulletin: currently £18, but likely to rise due to increasing costs
- Full membership (pdf Bulletins): £18
- Reduced membership – unwaged / retired (pdf Bulletins): £10
- Student membership (pdf Bulletins): £10
- Conference – free membership for one year if you have just registered and paid for annual conference (normally in March) at the non-members rate (pdf Bulletins): £0
Annual subscriptions may be paid by Standing Order, BACS (bank transfer) or Paypal. Standing order is preferred as it requires less administration, and we receive the full amount. Payment by cash or cheque can be arranged in exceptional circumstances.
Please note that Porcupine is not VAT registered but we can supply receipts for membership payments if required.
